Why natural skin care?
Do you sometimes wonder why you should pay double (sometimes more) when you can buy products in the grocery store that are cheaper?
We can start with the price, why is it more expensive?
Well, of course it has to do with the ingredients themselves and that these in natural products are often organic and naturally produced. Chemically produced raw materials are simply cheaper because they are cheaper to produce. Unfortunately, these cheaper raw materials are often also drying for the skin and can also be hormone-disrupting, but are added to make the product cheaper (but not more expensive, rather the opposite)
Sustainability then?
Most chemically produced products are in liquid form, which can make it difficult to dose in the right amount and we often take much more than we need. Products in solid form, for example a soap, give us the amount we need and we don't have to waste the product unnecessarily! Imagine when you use shampoo, don't you bother pouring it back into the bottle that you think was too much? But with a shampoo cake, you build up the lather you want and then you don't have to waste unnecessarily. Then let your natural product dry on a soap dish or similar and it will last a long time!
Most people who switch to natural body, skin and hair products experience a completely different quality of hair and that the skin becomes less dry. Some don't even feel the need to lubricate anymore because they use products that don't contain solvents and deeply moisturize. The hair gains new vitality and shine and does not need to be washed as often, which causes less wear and tear on the hair.
Unfortunately, I can promise you that as long as you use body care products that contain solvents, you can lubricate yourself forever, you will still be dry...
If you figure it all out, the products with natural content are actually not that much more expensive if you store them well. In addition, you are doing both yourself and the environment a favor as everything is biodegradable and does not end up in our fields because the treatment plants are unable to filter out the particles.
I wish you a nice week :)
